Every month, the Earth Prayers Newsletter greets you. It's October. In Europe and the Northern Hemisphere, autumn begins, while in the Southern Hemisphere, spring starts. Everything happens simultaneously, reminding us that behind all events, there is one primal force, and at the same time, the experience of the here and now, with its diverse perceptions, is so unique and enriching.
We look back on the wonderful support for our September projects. May this support help these people and projects nurture and realize their visions. With gratitude for each step and each day, we continue our journey.
These three photos of María Navas' birthing house in the Andes of Venezuela, which we have sustainably supported in its creation and construction, were received a few days ago, and we want to share them with you. Another little angel was born there in the water birthing pool. ❤️
The following video and many photos were sent to us by the Lmartin People's Association from Samburu, Kenya. School supplies, pens, notebooks, textbooks, and school uniforms were gifted to children from financially disadvantaged families. The joy among the children, parents, and teachers was immense! Justinah, the co-founder of the Lmartin People's Association, explains in a few words why school uniforms in rural areas of Kenya can be so crucial in determining whether children can attend school, and consequently, whether they learn to read, write, and do math...
"School uniforms are mandatory in Kenya. They are used to identify students, and each school has its own specific uniform. It's like a basic necessity here in Kenya, and if students don't have uniforms, most of them don't attend school out of fear of punishment or are even sent home to get one. Many students end up missing school or even dropping out, especially those from underprivileged families. In most cases, the lack of school uniforms leads to students developing low self-esteem and performing poorly in school. School uniforms are the top priority in every school in Kenya."
Justinah wants to ensure that with this support, children can attend school and are not hindered by the lack of uniforms, notebooks, textbooks, and pens. We were happy to contribute to this effort!

Here we are sharing a few recent photos from the Vuka Daraja na Jirani project in Samburu, Kenya. Lochuch and Ari are very active there, advocating for the children and the elders, while also working diligently in their own garden and chicken coop.
Karolina from Colombia sent us these photos of the completion of the bathroom in her newly built wooden house. Soon, she and her mother will be able to offer their regional, traditional products and dishes there! ❤️
Earth Prayers are bundled intentions, prayers, and wishes that we send from Europe week after week around the world, nourishing the network of connection, peace, and goodwill among people. ❤️
On one hand, it’s about our financial support, but at the same time—and perhaps this aspect is even more important, as it is more subtle—we nourish these people and projects with our intentions, as well as the morphogenetic field of these areas, which directly relate to all of us. The people and projects, spread across the globe, who are active in these fields and contribute to them, also nurture this collective field of these seven areas of life.
We would now like to give you the opportunity once again to familiarize yourselves with the beautiful graphic of our seven areas. Every week, a project in one of these seven life areas is supported. The Earth Prayers Wheel continues to turn, week after week, year after year.
In October, we are financially, emotionally, and consciously supporting the life areas of "Sustainable Agriculture," "Nature & Culture," "The Empowered Woman," and "Free Development for Children."

🌞 October 7-13: Sustainable Agriculture - Marisol Landaeta ~ Venezuela ❤️
Marisol originally hails from Caracas and relocated to the Andes of Venezuela, specifically to Ciudad Fresita, Mérida, after her house in Caracas burned down. She now has a house and 1.5 hectares of beautiful, fertile land where she can plant, harvest, marvel at sunsets and sunrises, and witness the wonder of the eternal lightning of Catatumbo.
Marisol has the vision of creating a kind of camp at her home for volunteers—people who want to learn how to sow, harvest, process, dry, and preserve food. The idea is for people to be inspired during their stay and then return to their own places, whether in the city or countryside, to apply the inspiration they’ve gained.
She has many plans to bring this camp to life. She wants to build bathrooms for the volunteers, a space for alternative therapies, and a shed for tools. However, her first priority is the construction of an outdoor dry toilet. For the materials and labor, around 500 euros are needed to achieve this first and most important goal.
Through her presence and work, Marisol aims to plant seeds of peace on Earth. We are very excited to join forces in supporting her!

🌞 October 14-20: Nature & Culture - Kilampá Community ~ Argentina ❤️
The Kilampá Community is located in the province of Córdoba, Argentina. You may remember that we’ve supported the Amatreya community in this region several times: during the rebuilding after a forest fire and more recently in transitioning to an efficient and sustainable water supply system.
Kilampá is also a community that stewards and preserves many hectares of land. It’s a place where many young people come to find their vision and purpose in life. Kilampá provides space and guidance for these young individuals to discover their own path.
Right now, the focus in Kilampá is on building a greenhouse to grow all kinds of plants. Another goal is to renew the water supply system and purchase water tanks.

🌞 October 21-27: The Empowered Woman - Jainaba Ceesay ~ Gambia ❤️
Our dear friend Balthasar traveled to Gambia a few months ago and met Jainaba Ceesay during his trip. He was touched by her story and encouraged her to reach out to Earth Prayers for support in completing her education.
This led to our contact with Jainaba. She wants to finish her graphic design studies at Smart Professional College, but currently lacks the funds to do so. With 500 euros, we can cover her tuition fees and purchase a used laptop.
We are delighted to support Jainaba on her journey in a small way! Here are a few impressions from Jainaba's home!
🌞 October 28 - November 3: Free Development for Children - Youth Orchestra of Pisac - Arawi Moq'xa ~ Peru ❤️
Violin teacher Yuli Libertad has made it her mission to provide the children in her community with a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and develop through music. “It is essential to create a safe space where our young people can express themselves, connect with their roots, and build a better future together,” says Yuli.
Both the Youth Orchestra of Pisac and the members of Earth Prayers believe that money should not be the only reason these children do not have the opportunity to play this or any other instrument.
“Our motivation and great source of inspiration are the children.” The small group of 8 children drives and motivates Yuli and her team to continue and grow. Every contribution, whether big or small, is received with great gratitude and will become a seed of hope for these young talents.
Yuli has big plans, and a significant amount of funding is needed to implement them step by step. We are happy to support this initiative in any way we can!

In closing, we would like to share the figures from September so you can see how many people contributed and how much money was raised! A total of 70 euros was contributed to each project from the Essence Gathering in Fernitz near Graz. At the Essence Gathering, 2000 euros were donated to Earth Prayers. Of that amount, 1000 euros were sent to the projects for August last month. From the remaining funds, we allocated 70 euros to each of the September projects. A heartfelt thank you to Wotan and everyone involved for this generous donation!
